Mumbai, a city of dreams, a city that never sleeps and a city so full of life that one cannot help but feel full of life. Capital city of Maharashtra, Mumbai is the nerve centre of the entire country and rightly its financial capital. Mumbai has been ranked 6th among top 10 global cities on billionaire count, ahead of Shanghai, Paris and Los Angeles. The city was renamed from being called “Bombay” to “Mumbai” in 1996, the name being derived from the Koli goddess—Mumbadevi.
On the way to Bhawan, one is likely to see and enjoy many interesting places. The complete view of the Trikuta mountains can be seen at the Darshani Darwaaza where Mata Vaishno Devi met Pandit Shridhar in the form of a girl child aaccording to the legend. Banganga, the first major station for a yatri is a small beautiful bank of a rivulet. Then one can set his eyes on the ancient temple of Charan Paduka where Devi stopped to look back and check whether Bhairon Nath was still chasing her or not.
As soon as I reached towards the Asia’s longest tunnel, Jawahar tunnel, my heart missed a beat. There is always a bed of water in that tunnel and I could really feel the sound of my vehicle passing over it. The tunnel opened up to the beautiful view of rice fields with the sunlight being reflected by the water in them. The farmers in the traditional dresses annexed the sightliness.
